Well, here I am, a blogger. At least, I hope to become a blogger. I’m a pretty weird gal and I wear that title proudly. It’s amazing the number of people in my life that have called me “weird” at one time or another. They think it’s an insult. Jokes on them. Truthfully, I have curated a very strange life for myself that I’m quite proud of. Some incidents have been by accident, but most of me has decided to take the word “weird” and wear it as a badge of honor. I was never a normal kid. My mother was all about appearances and I never fit the mold she hoped she could trap me in. There are several topics I’ll be including in this blog. Theres my childhood trauma, surviving a narcissistic mother, living with a pretty severe panic disorder, a host of health issues, infertility, adoption, raising a child on the ASD spectrum, and my spouse coming out as trans during the pandemic. The list goes on and on. I’ve discovered I am resilient. I don’t give up easily. I’m hoping that sharing some of my experiences might help someone out there who is struggling with something similar. So, blog post #1 is complete. Stay tuned for lots of weird stories from a very odd person.
